Centre Island
Centre island is the middle of the three primary Toronto Island destinations. It is sandwiched between Ward’s Island on the east and Hanlan’s Point on the west.
Boats go more often to Centre than the other islands because it is the most popular. You will find fountains, formal gardens, Centerville Amusement Park, a pier that extends into Lake Ontario, a sandy beach, picnic areas, Franklin’s Children’s Garden and many other attractions.

How to get there?
Go to 1 Queens Quay Toronto, ON M5J 2H1. Once you arrive at the destination, you can ride a water taxi worth only $10 for each person.
Restaurants
Toronto Island BBQ & Beer Co. and Carousel Cafe offer a variety of foods which for sure you would not want to miss when travelling to the island.
Centreville Amusement Park
Centreville Amusement Park offers different kinds of rides, but you have to bring your cash with you. The prices vary depending on the ride, and they also accept US dollars.
Centre Island Beach
Centre Island Beach offers a fantastic view wherein you can relax or have fun with friends and families. You can either play on the sand or just enjoy the waves.
Far Enough Farm
Centre Island also offers a farm wherein you can interact with animals including swans, peacocks, goats, cows, and donkeys.
Additional activities
Other than the major activities on the island you can also do kayaking, biking, distant viewing, riding a golf car, and experiencing different views.
Going back to the city
Once you are done with all your chosen activities on the island, you can ride on a ferry that comes every thirty minutes and is free of charge.
